don't fight food

I'm trying to understand what I want to do with my passion for eating well and having whole lives. I've been humbled by friends who have invited me to participate in their journeys with them. One of the common themes and reflections that I hear is about food and our relationship with it. Food is not the enemy and we shouldn't fight against food. There are a lot of issues that surround our decisions with food. It doesn't matter how many points we count, how many calories we figure out, or how much weight we lose or gain...we have to get to the root of the problem, and a lot of times it seems that we have to go inside and with depth to figure out what's happening. And it's nice not to do that journey alone.
