ahh.

i returned from new york this afternoon. i had an amazing time hanging with kenley, catching up with college friends and meeting some of kenley's friends. i'm always sad when i leave friends and family. i hate airports. a lot. i mean hate hate hate them. i cry a lot. so it was sad leaving kenley this morning. real sad.

i already want to go back. :(

fun things.
- seeing kenley at the airport when i arrived
- hitting some parties
- seeing the fireworks on the east river
- text messaging friends a video of those fireworks - three times, my bad y'all
- walking around the city hand in hand with kenley
- eating at my favorite restaurant with some old friends from college! hip hip hooray!
- and eating some magnolias after dinner with them...it was my duty to introduce them to those lovely cupcakes
- being surprised by a gift of bond no. 9 perfume. oh snap. watch out. i mean smell out. ;)
- watching four hours of wimbeldon with kenley
- taking naps, lots of naps, thanks to the cold i got from my dad
- taking two free shots of tequila from the bartender. she gave 'em to me bc tequila cures all things. right?
- meeting kenley's football team and friends
- south indian food at curry in a hurry. yum.
- hanging with mrs. cooper and her friends and family
- seeing how kenley's poured his life into the lives of others
- flying over dc and seeing all the sights
- sleeping a lot on the plane. dang cold.
- sleeping and drooling on the plane.
- midwest cookies. yum.
- new york + love.
