i like good food. when i eat good, rich food, i'm much fuller than if i eat a substitute. it's a true story. i'd rather have a homemade cookie...savor it rather than eat through a 100 calorie pack of small cookies. with recent stories about fake sugar being bad for our bodies...i'm trying to figure out how to incorporate more natural sweeteners. (basically, bodies have a hard time distinguishing between fake sugar and real sugar...so, when we eat a lot of fake sugar our body wants to actually get those fake calories, does that make sense?) anyway, i have some real, yummy yogurt...it is natural, full fat and it's so worth it. i have just a half a cup...and it's only 2 points (ww) and it's decadent. i could easily get a 1 point or 2 point substitute but i wouldn't be satisfied.
our obsession with food has taken away one of the things that I do think that God gave us...the sense of taste. we don't need to overeat or obsess over food. i think we can just enjoy it...in freedom.
so this week i'm going to have this yogurt and granola each morning and see how i feel. i noticed today that i was full until lunch and was craving it when i got home :) i think that's good food. thanks delmarie.
so i'm finding freedom in this journey. more and more freedom that i am really thankful for today :)

jara this is simply wonderful. thanks for sharing what you're learning!
What yogurt is it? Just curious.
nikki - it's a local yogurt product my friends are producing. if i can figure out a way to bring it to lexington in may i'll bring some for you!
oh ok. Well if you do let me know. I'd love to try some after your rave reviews of it. :)
